JOB PURPOSE
The Receptionist – Greek Speaking will be responsible for providing a warm and professional welcome to hotel guests, ensuring efficient front desk operations and delivering high-quality customer service at all times. He/she will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, respond to guest inquiries, and ensure smooth communication between departments, in accordance with Hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To ensure all reception duties are carried out in accordance with Hotel procedures and standards.
- To welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- To handle guest reservations, room allocations, and updates accurately using the hotel system.
- To respond promptly and politely to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- To provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- To handle phone calls, emails, and messages professionally and efficiently.
- To coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth guest operations.
- To manage cash handling, billing, and payment procedures accurately.
- To ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Graduate from Lyceum or secondary school
- Previous experience in a similar receptionist or front desk role will be considered an advantage
- Fluent Greek language (spoken and written) is required
- Good knowledge of English; additional languages will be considered an advantage
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Pleasant personality, polite, reliable, and responsible
- Ability to work in a team and handle guests professionally
