St. Raphael Resort & Marina is looking for a passionate and skilled Sushi Cook to join our team and grow with us.

Job Overview
The Sushi Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi and Japanese dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and freshness. He/she will contribute to the smooth operation of the sushi section while maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

Main Responsibilities

·         Prepare a variety of sushi dishes including nigiri, maki, sashimi, and specialty rolls

·         Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared according to standards

·         Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times

·         Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations

·         Assist in the planning and development of new sushi menu items

·         Communicate effectively with other kitchen team members and front-of-house staff

·         Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation and ordering when needed

·         Ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes during service hours

Qualifications & Skills

·         Previous experience as a Sushi Cook or in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting

·         Excellent knife skills and understanding of Japanese cuisine

·         Strong attention to detail and presentation

·         Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

·         Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices

·         Basic knowledge of English (knowledge of Greek is a plus)
