Job Description

St Raphael Resort & Marina is looking for a new associate for the position of Business Development Manager.

Join our dynamic Sales & Marketing team as a Business Development Manager and play a key role in driving growth and strengthening our market presence. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client and associates’ relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of expanding the company’s market presence and achieving sustainable growth. He/she will be responsible for the effective development and management of the department’s marketing team and efforts including online presence, online rates and yields, promotion within the local and international markets, promotion of the hotel, marina, tower and restaurants among others to position them desirably in the market, to collect data and analysis results. In addition, he/she will be proactive in maintaining and/or improving the Company’s profitability in accordance with the Resort’s strategies, targets and standards. 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while nurturing strong client relationships.
•    Lead and develop the Sales & Marketing team to deliver innovative strategies and measurable results.
•    Oversee online presence, rates, promotions, and international marketing efforts to position the Resort competitively.
•    Drive revenue growth through effective planning, negotiations, and yield management.
•    Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
•    Ensure high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and quality assurance across all channels.


What We’re Looking For:
•    A strategic thinker with proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
•    Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
•    Ability to manage projects independently and deliver measurable results.
•    Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally when required.
•    High level of responsibility, initiative, judgment, and decision-making within the general policies set by hotel management.
•    Willingness to take on responsibilities beyond the core duties of the position.

•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
•    Excellent organizational and time management skills.
•    Friendly, reliable, pleasant personality with a high sense of professionalism.
•    Proficiency in computer programs and hotel booking software
•    Knowledge on online platforms and channel management systems
•    Holder of an EU passport/ID.

 

Required Qualifications for the Position

Education:
•    University Degree in Marketing Management or a relevant field of study.
•    Excellent command of the Greek and English languages.
     
Previous Experience:
•    At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in 5-star hotels.
