Job Overview
The Storekeeper will primarily responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and equipment for the daily hotel operations.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
Responsible of Receiving, Storing, and Issuing Food, Beverage, or Cleaning Products used by the Hotel Department.
Must participate in the Loading of all products necessary to the operation of the Food Dept.
Ensures requisitions are prepared and delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with the requisition timetable.
Ensure appropriate FIFO Rotation is in place in his area and report any issue to the Procurement Manager.
Must, according to schedule, participate in the cleaning of all storage facilities according to the Public Health procedures and standards.
Takes scheduled and end of voyage physical inventory of their store according to the Procurement Manager instruction.
Must be knowledgeable with all the cleaning, food, chemicals materials used by hotel departments
Qualifications & Experience
Must speak and write Greek and English very well.
Minimum of two years’ experience as storekeeper, preferably in hotel.
Experience with inventory systems will consider as advantage.
Holder of an EU passport is essential.
Personal Characteristics
Pleasant and friendly personality, fair, honest reliable and polite.
Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment.
Very good communication skills.
Working quickly without compromising quality
Ability to cope under pressure and deliver excellent service results in a high-paced luxury environment.
