Job Overview
The hotel porter welcomes guests, carries their luggage to and from their room and arranges various services such as taxis and restaurant bookings.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
To project a positive, professional and friendly image to the guests and other team members.
Greeting guests and carrying luggage to and from their room
Showing guests to their room and explaining the facilities
Answering guests’ questions about the hotel and local points of interest
Keeping the lobby and reception area tidy
Responding to guest requests and making sure they are comfortable throughout their stay.
Running errands, doing small jobs such as buying medicine for a client or picking up dry cleaning.
Qualifications & Experience
· Must speak and write Greek and English very well. Knowledge of the Russian language will be considered as an additional advantage.
· Experience with hotel environment for any position would be consider as advantage.
· Holder of an EU passport is essential.
Personal Characteristics
· Pleasant and friendly personality, fair, honest reliable and polite.
· Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment.
· Very good communication skills.
· Working quickly without compromising quality
· Ability to cope under pressure and deliver excellent service results in a high-paced luxury environment.
