Job Purpose

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily maintenance operations of the hotel. The role involves supervising maintenance staff, ensuring timely repairs, scheduling preventative maintenance, and making sure all systems and facilities are running safely and efficiently, always with a focus on service excellence and guest satisfaction.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all maintenance activities within the hotel premises.
  • Assign tasks and supervise maintenance team members to ensure efficient execution.
  • Monitor the condition of facilities, equipment, and systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
  • Schedule and follow up on preventive maintenance plans.
  •  Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when required.
  •  Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
  • Respond promptly to urgent repair requests or emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Support hotel operations by maintaining high standards of functionality and appearance.
  •  Work closely with other departments to address maintenance needs efficiently.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar maintenance supervisory or coordinator role, preferably in hospitality.
  • Solid knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, lead a small team, and manage time effectively.
  • Technical certification or diploma in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  •  Pleasant, team-oriented personality with a proactive attitude.
