A large private family residence is seeking a full-time Gardener to maintain and care for the outdoor areas and gardens of the property. The successful candidate will be responsible exclusively for the general upkeep, cleanliness, and appearance of the gardens and landscaped areas, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mow lawns, trim hedges, prune trees and shrubs, and regularly weed flower beds.
- Plant, water, and fertilize flowers, vegetables, and ornamental plants according to the season.
- Maintain gardening tools and equipment, including carrying out basic repairs when necessary.
- Control pests and plant diseases using eco-friendly methods.
- Assist with seasonal gardening tasks such as mulching, leaf removal, and irrigation system checks.
- Suggest and implement minor landscaping or layout improvements to enhance the garden’s appearance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is considered an advantage.
- Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor manual work, including lifting up to 20 kg.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy, with the ability to work independently.
- Basic communication skills in English or Greek.
