POSITION OF PLUMBER

JOB PURPOSE:

The Plumber will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of all plumbing systems and water-related equipment across the hotel. This role ensures the uninterrupted and efficient operation of water supply, drainage, and sanitation services, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect and maintain all plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, and sanitation facilities.

• Respond promptly and effectively to plumbing-related service requests from guests and staff.

• Perform preventive maintenance to avoid potential plumbing issues or breakdowns.

• Install new fixtures and fittings (e.g. taps, sinks, toilets) as required.

• Collaborate with the maintenance team on larger technical projects or hotel renovations.

• Ensure all plumbing work complies with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and inspections.

• Provide friendly and professional service while on duty in guest or public areas.

• Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

1. Graduate of a plumbing vocational school or similar technical qualification.

2. Good knowledge of English is essential; additional languages will be considered an advantage.

3. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar plumbing role, ideally in hospitality or large facilities.

4. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures.

5. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and independently.

6. Pleasant and cooperative personality with a strong team spirit.

7. Familiarity with Cyprus health and safety regulations.
