ELYSIUM HOTEL - LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

Elysium, a 5-star hotel in Paphos, Cyprus, is seeking to recruit a Laundry Attendant.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Laundry Attendant will assist with the cleaning, washing, and maintenance of all hotel linen, uniforms, and fabrics, supporting the housekeeping team to ensure the smooth operation of laundry services and high-quality standards at all times.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of laundry areas and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures, hygiene standards, and hotel policies.
• Report any shortages, damages, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Assist with inventory checks and proper storage of linen and laundry supplies.
• Support team members and maintain effective communication within the laundry team.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  
  
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• High school graduate (or equivalent) preferred.
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience, preferably in a 5-star hotel.
• Knowledge of laundry machines, detergents, and fabric care.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team spirit with good communication skills.
• Knowledge of English is a must. Greek is a plus.
