JOB PURPOSE:

The Cook C' will assist with basic food preparation, cooking, and kitchen maintenance tasks, supporting the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of the culinary service and high-quality standards at all times.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
  • Prepare ingredients and maintain workstations according to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the hotel.
  • Monitor food supplies and report any shortages to supervisors.
  • Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks.
  • Support team members and maintain effective communication within the kitchen team.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High school graduate (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Basic culinary training or relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.
  • Previous kitchen experience will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation standards, and basic cooking techniques.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team spirit with good communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of English and/or Greek.
