Electrician TECHNICIAN A
The Technician A Electrician will keep all electrical equipment, installations and machinery in the Hotel in good working order by providing day-to-day maintenance and repairs, following all relevant standard operating procedures; the Technician A Electrician will continuously work towards delivering the highest possible standards of work and service to all departments and people as well as maintain and/ or improve department profitability.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete the full range of electrical duties: respond and attend to installation, maintenance and repair requests; prioritise and organise work; analyse problems, identify courses of action, and implement solutions; follow the daily maintenance schedule; perform routine and preventive regular service, checks and inspections; carry out and interpret readings; maintain all necessary work tools; maintain inventories; requisition parts and supplies; follow energy conservation programs; communicate and provide information and assistance,
- Ensure the daily supervision of subordinates; work with external partners/contractors; assign duties; resolve issues/problems/complaints; ensure tasks, objectives and set standards are achieved,
- Train and coach team members so they develop their system knowledge and personal skills,
- Assist and participate in the Hotel emergency team and testing of safety systems,
- Address guests; maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Technical School graduate,
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician; having worked in a similar hotel/ environment will be considered an additional advantage,
- Required: approved license by the EMS Authority as an Installation Electrician & Maintenance Technician of Electrical Appliances Category A,
- Good attention to detail; able to read/understand various blueprints/schematic drawings, facilities/equipment software and operating systems devices,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written),
- Must speak, read, and write Greek and English; knowledge of additional languages (Russian, etc.) will be considered an additional advantage.
