Educational Level

  • Minimum High School Certificate
  • Diploma in culinary arts

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ professional kitchen experience in a similar role in Five-star hotels
  • Good command of English is a must any other language will be considered as a strong advantage   

Position summary/ Responsibilities

The Demi Chef de Partie is responsible for daily tasks associated with cuisine preparation.  They follow the instructions given by the Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to ensure the quality and consistency is maintained, and take responsibility to assist with organizing and the activities of the Commis to support the same goals.

Required skills/competencies

  • Experience in a high-volume operation, working with international teams   
  • Hands-on, cuisine oriented primary skill set                                                           
  • Strong sense of teamwork    

Work schedule- shifts

  • Ability to work shifts in a 24/7 operation
  • 5 or 6 days /week
  • 9 hours per shift with a total of 1-hour break.
