SCOPE OF JOB
Pastry Cook is responsible for the proper efficiency and profitable functioning of your station, which has been assigned to you. Maintains high standards of quality.
Reports to: Executive Chef
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Pastry Cook has to work closely with the Executive Chef to follow up assigned
- Preparing cakes and 3d decorations
- Able to work with butter cream and sugar paste
- Coordinating and ensure that pastry items are ready for service timely
- Controlling costs and keep himself informed regularly about stock levels and stock movements
- Implementing company policy and procedures and health and safety codes.
- Implementing food safety policies, procedures and standards of practice, as per the HACCP manual.
- Skilled in decorating 3D cakes, bringing creativity and artistry to culinary presentations.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts
Level of Experience
- Previous experience in the same or similar position
- Previous food handling experience
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of Greek or English language
- Excellent food handling skills
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
- Good planning, organizational and communication skills
- Good knowledge of hygiene, health & safety and licensing regulations
