SCOPE OF JOB

The main purpose of this role is to ensure smooth operations of the restaurant, while supervising the front of house team. Will be responsible to organize service flows that maximize guest satisfaction and employee engagement by ensuring that Company standards and targets are consistently achieved.

Reports to:

Assistant Restaurant Manager/ Restaurant Manager

Main responsibilities

Ensure all set up/ opening procedures are followed within restaurant and food pass areas
Report maintenance issues in a timely manner
Liaise with bar and kitchen for stock levels and menu specials
Perform daily pre shift team briefings
Delegate duties to team members on shift and follow up to ensure they are completed
Supervision of the team during service hours to consistently apply the Standards of Operating Procedures
Handle closing bills/cash/visa/vouchers/complimentary
Supervise all closing procedures
Perform daily shift debriefing to Restaurant Manager upon closing
Ensuring HACCP and health and safety policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
Attend job specific trainings
Attend team communication meetings

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Skills and Knowledge

Fluent in English and Greek
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Effective coaching and delegation skills
Excellent food and beverage knowledge
Good knowledge of Health & Safety, Hygiene and Licensing regulations

Level of Experience

2 years’ experience in the same or similar position
Previous waiting experience
