Columbia Restaurants - Refrigerator Equipment Technician

SCOPE OF JOB

This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing refrigerator systems of commercial kitchen, and beverage equipment to all outlets within Columbia Restaurants Co. Ltd.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment within the Columbia restaurants kitchens
• Conduct routine inspections of kitchen equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Perform maintenance/repair of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

Level of Experience

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Additional experience on the field will be considered as an advantage

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the operation and use of equipment and tools common to kitchen equipment maintenance and repair
• A working knowledge and hands-on experience with drive systems (gear, belt and chain), bearings, flexible couplings, centrifugal pumps, valves and valve actuators
• A working knowledge and hands-on experience with plumbing, steam and electrical systems
