Job Description

Scope of Job:

The main purpose of this role is to enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring smooth and efficient parking operations at Columbia Plaza. The Parking Attendant will manage the parking area, assist customers, and maintain a safe and clean parking environment.

Reports to: Manager on Duty

Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist customers upon arrival at Columbia Plaza’s parking facilities.
  • Direct drivers to available parking spaces courteously and efficiently.
  • Maintain traffic flow within the parking area to avoid congestion.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, greeting, answering questions or offering assistance.
  • Monitor the cleanliness of parking areas and report any maintenance concerns.
  • Operate parking equipment (gates, ticket machines) and report any malfunctions.
  • Uphold customer safety and the security of the parking facility.

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in both English and Greek.
  • Basic understanding of parking equipment operation.

  • Dependable, responsible, and able to handle challenges calmly.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts (morning, afternoon, and evening), including weekends and holidays.

Level of Experience:

  • No formal education or degree required. Training will be provided.
