SCOPE OF JOB

As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and present a positive first impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service and high standards.

MAIN RESPOSIBILITIES

Welcoming and greeting visitors and guests upon their arrival and departure
Escorting and seating customers to the dining and bar areas
Engaging with guests to ensure they are happy with service
Providing excellent customer service
Managing the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas
Providing accurate waiting times and monitoring waiting lists·
Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
Answering guests and visitors’ enquiries in a professional manner
Tend to special guest needs and requests
Ensuring HACCP and health and safety policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
Attend job specific training
Attend team communication meetings

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Skills

Fluent in Greek and English is a must
Excellent phone etiquette and restaurant/ bar etiquette
Strong planning and organizational skills
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in shifts as needed

Personality characteristics

Warm, engaging and professional
Confident and well presented
Work under pressure and able to multitask
Attention to detail

Level of Experience

Experience working as a Host/Hostess or Receptionist
High school diploma and/or hospitality certification
