SCOPE OF JOB

This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing commercial kitchen, repairing refrigerator systems & electrical systems, and beverage equipment to all outlets within Columbia Restaurants Co. Ltd.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen and restaurant equipment within the Columbia restaurants
Document labour and materials expended in the maintenance and repair of equipment
Conduct routine inspections of kitchen equipment to equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
Perform maintenance/repair of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection)
Perform maintenance/repair of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

Level of Experience

Proven experience as maintenance technician
Additional experience on the field will be considered as an advantage

Qualifications

Proficiency in the operation and use of equipment and tools common to kitchen equipment maintenance and repair
A working knowledge and hands-on experience with drive systems (gear, belt and chain), bearings, flexible couplings, centrifugal pumps, valves and valve actuators
A working knowledge and hands-on experience with plumbing, steam and electrical systems
