SCOPE OF JOB
The scope of this role is to oversee all electrical systems and equipment, ensuring proper installations, maintenance and troubleshooting for all the outlet operations.
Reports to: Technical Manager
Main Duties:
- Design electrical systems, circuits, and components for various applications, such as power distribution, control systems, communication systems, and electronics. Oversee the installation, integration, and commissioning of electrical systems and components in various applications.
- Create schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to illustrate electrical plans and layouts.
- Collaborate with outlet managers and other engineers to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
- Develop project plans and budgets for electrical engineering aspects of projects.
- Perform analysis and simulations to predict the behavior of electrical systems and components under different conditions.
- Select appropriate components, materials, and equipment for electrical systems based on performance requirements and industry standards. Evaluate the efficiency, reliability, and safety of electrical designs.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source necessary equipment and components.
- Conduct testing, verification, and validation of electrical systems and prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or deviations from expected performance.
- Ensure proper functioning and safety of installed systems.
- Design energy-efficient systems and solutions that minimize environmental impact.
- Implement technologies for renewable energy sources, energy storage, and power management.
- Ensure designs and installations adhere to relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Verify that electrical systems meet industry-specific requirements.
- Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in equipment and systems.
- Provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians on electrical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical engineering technologies, materials, and methodologies.
- Explore innovative solutions and improvements to existing electrical systems and components.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Level of Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
Skills and Knowledge
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and possibly plumbing systems, depending on the specific equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Good problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and find solutions.
- Strong attention to detail for performing precise maintenance tasks.
- Basic computer skills for data entry, documentation, and using maintenance management software.
- Safety-conscious mindset to ensure personal safety and compliance with regulations.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and maintenance practices.
- Fluent in Greek and English
