SCOPE OF JOB

To ensure that the cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant is maintained to the highest standards at all times.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensuring kitchen and restaurant areas are kept clean and tidy at all times     
• Checking and clean all public areas and ensure constant supply of soap, toilet tissue and paper towels at all times.
• Operating the wash up area, ensuring a sufficient supply of crockery, cutlery, glasses and paper towel for service       
• Assisting with checking of deliveries into the restaurant     
• Storing deliveries in the appropriate areas adhering to correct stock rotation principles     
• Maintaining cleaning product stock levels and informing management of cleaning product order requirements       
• Reporting any equipment or property defects   
• Ensuring that the correct cleaning materials and methods are used     
• Ensuring that company hygiene and health & safety standards are adhered to at all times

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Level of Experience    

• Previous experience in the same or similar position

Skills & Knowledge    

• Knowledge of Greek or English language     
• Good organizational skills    
• Good knowledge of cleaning products and uses
