Columbia Restaurants - Barista

Scope of Job

The main purpose of this role is to prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, along with snacks and desserts, while maximizing guest satisfaction by ensuring that company standards and targets are achieved.

Reports to: Head Bartender

Main Responsibilities

• Greeting and serving customers

• Preparing customers’ orders timely and accurately

• Knowledge of menu and providing detailed information

• Knowledge of methods of coffee preparation

• Maintaining stock levels and supplies

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations

• Ensure HACCP policies, procedures, and codes of practice are implemented

• Attend job-specific trainings

• Attend team communication meetings

• Excellent knowledge of coffee standards

Level of Experience

• Proven working experience as a barista, bartender, or similar position
