SCOPE OF JOB
The Banqueting Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring high service standards, team efficiency, and profitability while meeting client expectations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing the planning and execution of banquets, conferences, weddings, and other events, ensuring all client requirements are met.
- Leading and supervising a team of staff, including servers, chefs, and event coordinators, to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
- Ensuring that guest experiences are exceptional by maintaining high service standards and addressing any client concerns promptly.
- Managing event budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring profitability while maintaining high service quality.
- Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth event execution.
- Ensuring that the venue complies with all the Company health & safety procedures, and licensing regulations and that all events meet safety standards.
- Overseeing the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring that the venue is prepared according to client specifications.
- Maintaining records of events and reporting to senior management on event performance and financial outcomes.
