SCOPE OF JOB
The main purpose of this role is to support the Operations Manager in all aspects of the outlet . Will be responsible for the smooth running of the outlet operation, to maximize guest satisfaction, increase employee retention and develop the property by ensuring that Company standards and targets are achieved.

Operations Manager
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operation of the department
- Train, develop and motivate team to achieve highest possible standards.
- Ensure all New hires complete their induction checklists/onboarding plans.
- Organize work schedules per shift and as per business needs.
- Conduct yearly Employee Appraisals and progress check ins for the team.
- Maximize restaurant profits by overviewing food, labor and other variable costs.
- Monitor teams upselling skills and suggest innovative ways to increase sales.
- Ensure all company procedures and policies are adhered to with regards to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Licensing Regulations.
- Prepare monthly projections and produce weekly/monthly accounts and reports
- Ensure all security procedures are adhered to within the area of cash handling, stock control and the premises
- Build a rapport with customers whilst on duty to obtain feedback on the restaurant's performance
- Perform effective complaint handling and invest in guest loyalty
- Perform shifts as Manager on
- Ensuring HACCP and health and safety policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
- Attending job specific training
- Attend team communication meetings

Level of Experience
- Excellent knowledge of F&B operations
- Previous experience in leading teams (ideally in hospitality sector)
- Previous management experience (ideally in hospitality sector)
