POSITION CHEF DE PARTIE

JOB PURPOSE
The Chef de Partie will ensure the smooth running of his post and will prepare food based on pre-set recipes, in the most efficient and effective manner. He will deliver the highest possible standards of quality food, presentation and service through the effective training of his staff. He will also be pro-active in maintaining and/or improving the department profitability in accordance with Hotel policies, procedures and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of a Hotel Management School or Hotel & Catering School at secondary level specialising in catering.
- Three years experience in a similar position in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
- Must speak and write English. Knowledge of another language will be considered an advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Pleasant and friendly personality, fair, reliable and polite.
