Casale Panayiotis - Waiter Internship

Position Overview:

The Waiter Intern is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on experience in delivering exceptional dining service at Casale Panayiotis. Under the guidance of senior service staff, the intern will support daily restaurant operations and learn the standards of high-quality food and beverage service. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who are eager to develop their skills in a luxury boutique hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Support senior waiters in presenting menus and explaining menu items
• Learn to take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Help in serving food and beverages according to established standards
• Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and well-presented at all times
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Observe and gradually handle guest inquiries and requests with professionalism
• Support the team in processing payments and basic billing procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in promoting menu items, specials, and hotel offerings
• Help with setting up tables and arrangements for events or special occasions
• Continuously learn and apply hospitality standards to enhance guest experience

Requirements:

• Currently studying or recently completed a program in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong interest in food & beverage service and hospitality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Basic understanding of customer service principles
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
