Job Description
Position Overview:
The Waiter A is an integral part of the dining experience at Casale Panayiotis. They are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality food and beverages to our guests. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for hospitality and be dedicated to ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist guests in making menu choices, including providing recommendations and special requests
- Serve food and beverages to guests according to established standards
- Monitor and maintain dining area cleanliness and appearance
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a polite and timely manner
- Process payments and ensure accurate billing
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Upsell and promote menu items, specials, and promotions
- Assist with setting up tables and decorations for special events and occasions
- Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service and exceed guest expectations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a waiter or server in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus and specials
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
- Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is an asset
