Job Description:

  • The Waiter is an integral part of the dining experience at Casale Panayiotis. Responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality food and beverages to guests. Ideal candidates have a strong passion for hospitality and are dedicated to ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist guests in making menu choices, including providing recommendations and handling special requests.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests according to established standards.
  • Monitor and maintain dining area cleanliness and appearance.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints politely and promptly.
  • Process payments and ensure accurate billing.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Upsell and promote menu items, specials, and promotions.
  • Assist with setting up tables and decorations for special events and occasions.
  • Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service and exceed guest expectations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a waiter or server.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus and specials.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic math and cash handling skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
