Job Description:
- The Waiter is an integral part of the dining experience at Casale Panayiotis. Responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality food and beverages to guests. Ideal candidates have a strong passion for hospitality and are dedicated to ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist guests in making menu choices, including providing recommendations and handling special requests.
- Serve food and beverages to guests according to established standards.
- Monitor and maintain dining area cleanliness and appearance.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints politely and promptly.
- Process payments and ensure accurate billing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Upsell and promote menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Assist with setting up tables and decorations for special events and occasions.
- Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service and exceed guest expectations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a waiter or server.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus and specials.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
