Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Cook A to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, ensuring that all culinary standards are met. You will work closely with our executive chef and kitchen staff to maintain excellence in all culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist with the development of new menu items and daily specials.
• Ensure that all food preparation meets hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food storage areas.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and service.
• Monitor stock levels, and place orders for ingredients as necessary.
• Adhere to portion control and waste management procedures.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cook A or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
• Strong understanding of Cypriot cuisine and Mediterranean flavors.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a high-energy kitchen.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
