Job Description
Our client is looking for an Architect to join their expanding Technical Department and contribute to the successful delivery of our upcoming residential and commercial projects in Limassol.
The client is a leading property development and management firm in Cyprus, well-known for delivering exceptional projects over the past 20 years.
The Architect will be responsible for managing construction drawing packages, designing construction drawings and details, and being part of the on-site supervision team, working closely with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to bring concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed architectural drawings, construction details, models and renderings.
Monitor construction phases through site visits to ensure implementation aligns with the approved designs.
Collaborate with the in-house design team and design consultants.
Participate in project meetings, providing technical guidance and ensuring projects meet their objectives.
Ensure that designs comply with the project specifications and local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, planning laws and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants and contractors during the design and construction phases.
Stay updated with the latest architectural trends, materials and technologies.
Ensure all project activities align with legal and regulatory standards, including ETEK guidelines and local authority requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Architecture.
1-5 years of experience of relevant professional experience.
Strong knowledge of building systems, codes and construction practices.
Fluency in Greek and English is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and BIM software.
Experience in sustainable and green building is a plus.
Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS or ETEK) is considered an advantage.
