AMARA Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus, is seeking candidates for the position of Housekeeping Attendant (Maid) to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest standards. Job Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant (Maid) will be responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all hotel guests. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and adherence to the hotel’s hygiene and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.

• Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock room supplies.

• Ensure all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures are dust-free and spotless.

• Handle guest requests efficiently and politely.

• Report any maintenance issues or lost and found items to the Floor Supervisor.

• Ensure the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness in all assigned areas.

• Follow hotel safety and sanitation procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals.

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages.

• Work efficiently to meet daily cleaning targets while maintaining quality.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.

• Understanding of cleaning techniques, hygiene standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment.

• Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks in a timely manner.

• Good communication skills; basic English knowledge is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
