With its reputation for warm hospitality and professional service, Ajax Hotel is looking to expand its Housekeeping Department.

Position: Floor Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Floor Supervisor to oversee the daily housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all rooms and public areas meet the hotel’s cleanliness and presentation standards, while leading and supporting the housekeeping team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team on a daily basis

• Assign tasks and schedules to staff, ensuring efficient use of resources

• Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance

• Train, support, and evaluate housekeeping staff

• Ensure proper handling and safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals

• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments when needed

• Report maintenance issues promptly to the relevant department

• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times

• Assist in preparing duty rosters and scheduling shifts

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a floor supervisor or in a similar position within a hotel

• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and use of chemicals

• Experience in scheduling and supervising staff

• Good knowledge of English (Greek or additional languages will be considered an advantage)

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

• EU citizenship or valid work permit for Cyprus
