Position Overview
Aeolian Village Beach Resort is seeking a reliable and experienced Gardener to join its grounds and maintenance team for the upcoming season.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the resort’s gardens, landscaped areas and outdoor spaces to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain gardens, lawns, plants and landscaped areas throughout the resort.
Perform watering, pruning, planting and general garden maintenance.
Maintain flowers, shrubs, trees and other plants.
Keep outdoor areas clean and well-presented.
Operate gardening tools and equipment safely.
Identify and report plant diseases or maintenance issues.
Assist with seasonal planting and landscaping activities.
Follow proper health and safety procedures.
Maintain gardening equipment and tools in good condition.
Cooperate with the maintenance and resort teams when required.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as a gardener, preferably in a hotel, resort or similar environment.
Good knowledge of gardening and plant maintenance.
Ability to operate basic gardening tools and equipment.
Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors.
Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
Reliable, hardworking and responsible.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good knowledge of English will be considered an advantage.
Willingness to work on a seasonal employment contract.
