Position Overview
Aeolian Village Beach Resort is seeking a motivated and reliable Cook B’ – Hot Kitchen to join its culinary team for the upcoming season.
The successful candidate will assist with the preparation and cooking of hot dishes while following established recipes, food safety procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and cooking of hot dishes.
Follow recipes, preparation methods and portion standards.
Assist with daily restaurant and buffet preparation.
Ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Follow FIFO procedures and minimize food waste.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
Support senior kitchen staff during preparation and service.
Cooperate effectively with the kitchen team.
Assist with other kitchen duties when required.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in a hot kitchen, preferably within a hotel, resort or restaurant.
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
Reliable, flexible and team-oriented.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Knowledge of Greek and English will be considered an advantage.
Willingness to work on a seasonal employment contract.
