Position Overview
Aeolian Village Beach Resort is seeking a motivated and reliable Cook B’ – Cold Kitchen / Salads to join its culinary team for the upcoming season.
The successful candidate will assist with the preparation of salads, cold dishes, appetizers and buffet items while maintaining high standards of freshness, presentation, hygiene and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of salads, appetizers and cold dishes.
Prepare ingredients according to established recipes and standards.
Assist with daily buffet preparation and restaurant service.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of food products.
Follow FIFO procedures and minimize food waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
Support senior kitchen staff during preparation and service.
Ensure ingredients are fresh and properly handled.
Cooperate effectively with the kitchen team.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in a cold kitchen, salad preparation or similar position is preferred.
Basic knowledge of cold kitchen preparation.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, flexible and team-oriented.
Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Knowledge of Greek and English will be considered an advantage.
Willingness to work on a seasonal employment contract.
