Position Overview
Aeolian Village Beach Resort is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook A’ – Hot Kitchen to join its culinary team for the upcoming season.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality hot dishes, following established recipes and standards while maintaining excellent food quality, presentation, hygiene and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of hot dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure consistent quality, taste and presentation of all dishes.
Assist with daily buffet and restaurant food preparation.
Ensure proper portion control and minimize food waste.
Maintain proper food storage, labeling and FIFO procedures.
Monitor ingredient quality and freshness.
Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic work environment.
Follow all food safety, hygiene and health regulations.
Cooperate effectively with the kitchen team during preparation and service.
Assist junior kitchen staff when required.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as a Cook A’ or in a similar position, preferably within a hotel, resort or restaurant.
Good knowledge of hot kitchen preparation and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Reliable, professional and team-oriented.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Knowledge of Greek and English will be considered an advantage.
Willingness to work on a seasonal employment contract.
