Επαρχιακός Οργανισμός Αυτοδιοίκησης Λεμεσού

As of 1 July 2024, the Limassol District Local Government Organisation (EOA Lemesos) became part of our lives.

The new public organisation was established under the District Local Government Organisations Law of 2022 (Law No. 37(I)/2022), and is dedicated to serving our city and district. The following entities have been integrated under its umbrella:

• The Water Board of Lemesos (WBL),
• The water supply services of all municipal areas,
• The Sewerage Board of Limassol-Amathus (SBLA),
• The issuance of Planning and Building Permits,
• The Sewerage Boards of Communities, and
• The Green Points.

It is responsible for:

• Drinking water,
• Wastewater sewerage,
• Rainwater management and flood protection for our cities and communities,
• Solid waste management and utilisation,
• Development licensing, including the issuance of Planning and Building Permits.

The responsibilities of the Limassol District Local Government Organisation extend across the entire district, encompassing all municipalities and communities.
