Job Description
Purchasing and properly storing all the products and raw materials needed to operate a luxury hotel is considered a very important function within KANIKA Hotels & Resorts.
If you have the background and the personality that is required to be part of this team, the position of Stores Helper might be the right position for you.
Working along with the rest of the team and cooperating with various other departments within the hotel, you will be sharing the vision of Kanika Hotels & Resorts, to offer guests an amazing holiday experience in Cyprus.
- Inspect deliveries and date times to verify freshness, cleanliness and quality
- Monitor the par levels in the stores and practice a First In – First Out policy
- Ensure that all near to expiry items are being returned back to the suppliers on time
- Prepare the daily departmental requisitions and deliver them on time with courtesy
- Ensure that the Storage areas (dry, refrigerated etc.) are spotlessly clean and tidy at all times
- Assist the Purchasing Officer whenever necessary with other duties
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Good command of the Greek and English languages
- Organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- EU citizen or an EU work permit holder
