On behalf of our client, EY People Advisory Services (PAS) is currently seeking to recruit: Senior Accountants, Nicosia and Limassol

The ideal candidates must have a proven record of solid background and outstanding performance in accounting and an on-going commitment to professional self-development.

Role & Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the financial and accounting systems
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting processes and procedures to maintain and improve internal controls
• Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties to support inter-company activities
• Support and ensure compliance with all finance requirements, audits and procedures
• Verify, allocate and reconcile accounts payable & receivable
• Participate in the preparation of management reports and forecasts
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions
• Prepare financial statements and produce relevant reports
• Manage payroll preparation and administration
• Perform Bank Statement Reconciliations
• Prepare and administer income tax and VAT returns and local taxes
• Participate in other accounting related duties
• Coordinate and liaise with Tax & Audit parties Requirements, Skills and Attributes:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
• Membership in a Professional Accounting Body (ACCA, ACA or CPA) will be considered and
• At least 3 years’ experience in similar position
• Good knowledge of VAT and Tax Regulations
• Familiarity with SAP accounting software as well as with the MS office suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
• Results-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both autonomously but also as part of a team Benefits:
