What will your job look like?

Accountable to the Manager of Procurement:

Manage end-to-end procurement, from strategy to contract realization; procure products, equipment, and services as necessary; act as the interface between the company and its suppliers

Build relationships with reliable suppliers; negotiate for best prices, quality, and delivery capabilities, and advise the company on the best solution

Observe the correct buying protocols; manage the purchase orders and coordinate with vendors on delivery/receipt of consignments

Manage cost control

Maintain relevant documentation, reports, and systems

Liaise with internal departments on requirements and stock levels; manage the relationship with Finance, Warehouse, and internal customers

Manage the company vehicle fleet, to ensure a safe, secure, and cost-effective fleet

All you need is…

Educated to a degree level will be considered an advantage

Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage

Proven track record of strong negotiation skills is mandatory

Ability to manage vendors, and to act as a consultant to the company

Proven experience of building constructive relationships with other departments

Solid understanding of cost control

Ability to prioritize and manage several activities simultaneously; capacity to deliver results under time pressure

Good communication skills

Excellent command of both spoken/written Greek and English language is a must

Very good computer skills in MS Office
