JOB PURPOSE
The Maid will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms and public areas, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and comfort. The role involves providing excellent service to guests, ensuring a pleasant and welcoming stay in accordance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas following the hotel's hygiene and presentation standards.

• To change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish room amenities as needed.

• To ensure all rooms are fully stocked with necessary supplies and report any shortages.

• To check for any maintenance issues and report them to the housekeeping supervisor.

• To handle guest requests promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• To follow health and safety regulations, ensuring proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• To ensure lost and found items are reported and delivered to the appropriate department.

• To assist in laundry operations when needed.

• To maintain a professional, polite, and friendly attitude while performing duties.

• To ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed according to hotel standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

1. Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is an advantage.

2. Good knowledge of English is preferred; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

5. Good physical condition, as the role involves standing, lifting, and bending.

6. Pleasant and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.

7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
