What will your job look like?

Carry out research and evaluation of new technologies and methodologies to improve/expand IPTV infrastructure

Design, implementation and maintenance of IPTV headend and other audiovisual subsystems

Transmission monitoring and quality assurance

Creation and automation of video related workflows

Batch processing of non-linear content including both video and associated meta-data

Hardware installations and cabling

Provide expert assistance to the front line teams

Travel to other locations of the Company or other offices, inland or abroad, as required by the above assignments

All you need is…

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications, or in any other related field

Previous experience in a field – related to digital video, will be highly regarded

Good understanding of digital video principles, codecs, standards

Programming skills, including knowledge of JAVA, will be considered as a plus

Database design and knowledge of SQL and XML can also be considered as a plus

Ability to analyze and interpret information

Ability to prioritize and manage several activities simultaneously

Good team work player in cross-functional tasks and strong interpersonal skills

Excellent command of both Greek and English languages

Available for regular standby/on-call work

Understands technical or professional aspects of work and continually maintains technical knowledge

Capable of working in a team

Comply with the Health and Safety Regulations and any other policies and procedures of the Company
